Reject Message: (166) Registration Number FIELD IS NOT FOUND
If you receive the reject IID message, as shown above, that means you have added a bad Importer number OR the first four digits of the Cargo control number are incorrect.
SOMETIMES this means your importer has exceeded their bond amount or is not in good standing with CRA, you will need to clarify with CRA or CBSA as to why a previously OK business number is not being allowed
Solution: Check both the Importer number and Cargo control number; once you get the correct data, update it on the shipment and transmit it as a Change.
