Instructions for Financial Statement Report:
It can be accessed from the Side Menu:
Reports >> General Ledger >> Financial Statements >> Print (double click to open).
It will open the below screen:
Description:
Enter Report #:
In the Enter Report # field, you can enter '1' for Income Statement or 2 for Balance Sheet.
Enter Period #:
Here, you can enter the starting period. For example, 1 for 1st period.
For the period ending:
Here, you have to add the ending period (date). For example: Ending 5/16/2023
Percentage variance calculated on:
1. =Budget
2. =Last Year
3. =Without Percentages
Enter Selection: Here, you can select from the above three options as per your need.
Column report should print:
1 = Period Balances
2 = Year-To- Date Balances
Enter Selection: Here, you can choose between the above two options as per your need.
Below is the example with screenshot:
It will open the Output Selection screen as shown above to Print, Print Preview, Email, and Export. Click on Print to print it.
Note: In case if the report is generating blank. Please check if the sub-ledgers haven't been posted to GLs. If not, then you have to post it first.
You can access it from the Side Menu:
General Ledger >> Subledger >> Post to General Ledger >> Post Monthly Totals.
Add (as per the above example):
month: 2301
period: 1
Then repeat that until posting all months, at least until April(as per the above example).
Once that is completed, the Financial Reports will show you the amounts.
