There are times where our support team needs your assitance to send us the error logs to resolve your support issue.
(Note, the 'Email to support' option on error pop-ups is hit and miss, we are aware of this and working to improve. Please copy and paste into this ticket, DO NOT PLACE SCREEN CAPTURES, we require the text instead.)
- When the CANdata Error Popup is presented
- Select "Details" button. You are presented with a window containing the error log
- Select the first line by left clicking the mouse on the top line in the error log (it will become highlighted), then press the keyboard combination of CTRL+A for "Select All" which will highlight all text in blue
- RIGHT CLICK on the blue text and select "Copy"
- Return to our support ticket email and reply, using right click "paste" or CTRL+V to paste the error message
